No, they don't--which was a bit of a disappointment. But the flowers are especially beautiful at dusk--it's almost like they're glowing. It's very eerie and otherworldly. Thanks for the petunia advice--I've gotten so used to just ignoring the verbena. I definitely want them to be lush, so I'll be paying attention! Though he might not admit it, I think naps are Mark's number one favorite thing to do.


Now I want a nap because Mark looks so content.

Do the blooms on a dogwood tree have a scent? I don't think I've ever seen one. You probably know this but in case you don't if you pluck your petunias.....pull the spent blooms they'll rebloom more productively. When the bloom fades just pull on the fading/wilting petals. You don't do anything with the green stem part. I hang petunias in our cat patio.
